In a joint partnership with Property Logic, the developer of Le Jardin de Fleur Resorts Morocco, the Radisson Resort & Spa Saïdia will manage 384 rooms and 97 villas, scheduled to complete in 2010. “With this signing we are adding a new and emerging country to our pipeline and are now present in 53 countries across EMEA”, comments Kurt Ritter, President & CEO of Rezidor. “In the Middle East and Africa we now have 47 hotels with almost 11,500 rooms in operation and under development – a clear sign for our commitment to this region.”

Located along six kilometers of idyllic beaches on the north-east Mediterranean coast of Morocco, Radisson Resort & Spa Saïdia will comprise pool villas and residences (2 to 3 bedrooms) and luxury sea view suites (1 to 2 bedrooms). In addition, the Radisson resort will offer 4 restaurants, 3 bars, a 1,500 m² Moroccan-themed spa and thalasso centre, 5 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool, 2 fitness centres, a kid’s club, shops, tennis courts, an amphitheatre, a beach club and 1,500 m² meeting and conference facilities - making it an ideal year-round destination ideal for business and leisure travellers.

									<description>PLANS for a £100 million luxury hotel complex at Flaxby near Knaresborough, North Yorkshire were unveiled last week. We are pleased to announce that La Luz Property will be a local agent for this exciting new investment opportunity.

Developers want to create a five-star Flaxby Country Club set on a 283-acre estate with ambitious plans for 300 rooms, four helipads, three restaurants, a luxury spa complex, two bars and boutiques, all set around a 27 hole golf course.

York-based developer The Skelwith Group say it will be the biggest luxury hotel in the north of England.

Outline planning permission was granted for the hotel in 2004 the developers said work will start later this year with completion in 2011.

Paul Ellis, Managing Director of The Skelwith Group said: \\\"This hotel and spa will be the north of England\\\'s premier destination for business, leisure and all special occasions.

\\\"It will boost the local and regional economy and be the last word in luxury travel experience. It will offer the facilities, opulence and service of a Park Lane hotel, but be set in beautiful Yorkshire countryside.\\\"

He said the complex will also feature conference facilities, nature trails throughout the grounds and a floodlit 24 hour driving range as well as the five star hotel with 303 bedrooms and the Golf Course with potential PGA Approved Tour facilities.

Joanna Royle, Marketing Director of the Yorkshire Tourist Board said: \\\"This development will be a landmark in Yorkshire\\\'s hospitality and leisure industry and will attract more visitors to the region. This kind of quality development is just what we need to ensure the tourist economy continues to thrive and we compete globally in the industry. 

\\\"We are very excited by the project and expect it to attract both business travellers and tourists from the UK and abroad.\\\"

Andy Tordoff, Head of Rural Renaissance and Tourism for Yorkshire Forward welcomed the Flaxby development.

He said: \"Competing in an international business arena means we also need to step up to the plate with the highest international standards in our growing leisure and service industries to support this.

\"As a five star development, the Flaxby Club looks set to make a valued addition to the Yorkshire and Humber offer.\"

The developers say the Flaxby Country Club will offer unrivalled luxury with individual rooms being sold to investors, offering guaranteed returns for eight years. 

Mr Ellis said: \"Our investment concept will offer a one-off opportunity to invest in five star luxury and be part of something unique and groundbreaking, whilst also financially being an exceptional deal.\"

The development is expected to create over 500 jobs at all levels for local people and to boost the local and regional economy.
